About Me

My story

I am a Taiwanese-American Full-Stack Developer. I was raised bi-lingual, but have since picked up so many more spoken-, signed-, and computer-languages that I am starting to lose track!

When it comes to programming, I am most familiar with Python, Javascript, and Java. I have a keen eye for detail, and a passion for telling stories.

I was recently asked to create this web-app as part of a coding challenge that I took part in...
These are the features of the application mock-up:

WELCOME PAGE:
- “Enter” button takes user to “Inputs Page”.

INPUTS PAGE:
- “Overview” and “Methods” buttons in Navigation Bar are placeholders. The other 3 buttons are clickable. All Navigation Bar buttons demonstrate hover effect.
- “Plan Type” buttons only selectable one-at-a-time. Selected and unselected buttons use blue and grey schemes, respectively.
- “Number of Lives Covered” input field disabled until after user selects a “Plan Type”. Input field only accepts integers between 0 and 500,000,000.
- “Demographics of Covered Lives” information updates and populates according to user input. Decimals rounded up to nearest integer. Math for “Percentages” and “Member” information accurate based on user input.
- “Time Horizon to Model” and “Risk Group to Evaluate” sections have prescribed options.
- Text in blue input boxes matches text of user selected options.
- Prevalence rates remain static.
- Values in blue input boxes change according to dual handle slider selections.
- “CV Events” values remain static.
- All Info Icons have BACON Ipsum hover text, styled to the right of each icon.

OUTPUTS PAGE:
- Group checkboxes functional and filter animal images according to user selection(s).
- Animal image-sizes responsive to browser size.
- STRETCH: “Plan Type text displays based on user selection on Inputs Page.
- STRETCH: Risk Group text displays based on user selection on Inputs Page.
- STRETCH: LDL-C Group text displays based on user selection on Inputs Page.
- Donut chart displayed with 5% slice.
- STRETCH: Offset slice.

GENERAL NOTES:
- Web app is responsively designed with priority given to large- and medium-sized displays. Drag browser size to match wireframe dimensions (widescreen) to see styling exact to wireframe. Medium-sized displays will begin to show collapsing/responsiveness.
